Trio Nova Mundi (Maureen Conlon Gutierrez, violin, Elisa Kohanski, cello and Becky Billock, piano) was a dynamic all-women ensemble spanning the Americas in musical training and heritage. This heritage inspired a mission of sharing music globally with a focus on innovative programming featuring new or lesser-known works alongside the classics, and a desire for outreach and community engagement. The trio performed educational services and appeared in concert and with orchestras in the US, Africa, Mexico, and Chile. The trio recorded one album, Canticum. The members of Trio Nova Mundi served on the faculty at Grove City College located in Western Pennsylvania, where their trio was the ensemble-in-residence.
